Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Training

The medicine is the tool. The therapy is the treatment.

A complete ketamine assisted psychotherapy protocol, taught by the clinicians who built and ran one. Train on your own, train as a practice owner, or train your whole clinic.

Ketamine is everywhere. Ketamine assisted psychotherapy is not.

A growing number of clinics now offer ketamine as a stand-alone medication service. No preparation, no psychotherapy in the room, no integration afterward. Patients get the medicine and miss most of what it makes possible.

Ketamine opens a window of increased neuroplasticity. What happens in that window, and in the integration sessions that follow it, is the clinical work. That work belongs to a trained psychotherapist.

Most clinicians who are curious about KAP run into the same wall. Weekend workshops give you an overview. Conference talks give you the research. Neither gives you a protocol you can follow with a patient on Tuesday morning.

K2C, Bringing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to Your Clinic, is that protocol.

Three ways to train. One protocol.

Every option teaches the same clinical protocol. What changes is how much of the program around it you are responsible for building.

A protocol you can follow, from intake to termination.

This is not a literature review. It is the protocol Dr. Bullock built and ran in her own outpatient KAP program, taught alongside the cases that shaped it.

01

Before the medicine

Screen for suitability, identify contraindications, and know when to refer to a higher level of care. Build a treatment plan and obtain informed consent specific to KAP.

02

In the room

Hold a safe container for a three-hour medicine session, from grounding to processing. Stay inside your scope, and know exactly where a dosing conversation ends and prescribing begins.

03

After the session

Use the 24 to 48 hour window after a dose, write an integration plan with your patient, manage suicide risk, document to a professional standard, and close treatment well.

Taught by clinicians who built and ran one.

What clinicians say after training with her.

I’m an LCSW that participated in their training session for clinicians and LOVED it! I learned a lot about ketamine treatments and KAP and especially the benefits of doing ketamine sessions as a group. I will definitely be recommending peers to participate in the training as well.
KAP experiential participant
Dr. Bullock led an experiential training with Ketamine in which I attended. She was knowledgeable, professional and attentive to the participants. I highly recommend her services.
KAP experiential participant
Dr. Bullock is an amazing clinician and educator! I cannot recommend her services enough. She has over 20 years of trauma therapy experience, and is an early pioneer of psychedelic-assisted therapy. I’ve attended several of her lectures and my own medical practice has improved immensely because of her.
Ketamine clinic founder in Utah
As a physician myself, I can without question say that Dr. Bullock is VERY heavily educated and extremely well-versed in her knowledge. I was very impressed and will certainly recommend her to others!

Before you decide.

Which option is right for me?

If you will deliver KAP inside a practice someone else runs, choose Clinical. If you own the practice or lead the program, choose Clinical + Leadership, because the legal, facility and billing decisions will be yours. If you have several clinicians to train, ask for a Clinic Team proposal. It covers the people you hire later, and it adds live training days and consultation.

Who is this training for?

Licensed psychotherapists: psychologists, LCSWs, CSWs, CMHCs and ACMHCs, along with the owners and clinical leaders who run their practices. In the KAP model the medical provider prescribes and the psychotherapist delivers the therapy. This training teaches the therapy and does not teach prescribing.

I am a prescriber who owns a practice. Is this for me?

Yes. Psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and other prescribers who own a practice are welcome, and often enroll alongside their therapists so the whole KAP service is built on one protocol. You already have the prescribing side in place. This training gives your therapists the clinical protocol, and the Leadership course gives you the program around it. If you have several therapists, ask about the Clinic Team Program.

Will I be certified in KAP when I finish?

No. There is no national certifying body for ketamine assisted psychotherapy. When you pass the final quiz you receive a certificate of completion. The course is direct about this, and about what ongoing competence requires.

How do CE credits work?

We have applied to NASW-Utah for 20 CE hours for the clinical course, including 2 hours of suicide prevention and 1 hour of ethics. Approval is pending. The Leadership course does not carry CE hours.

Is the training live?

The Clinical and Leadership courses are recorded and self-paced. Live training days are part of the Clinic Team Program. Live training days and consultations are offered personally by Dr. Bullock and her initial KAP trainers through 2027. Individual clinicians can also ask about attending a live training day. Send an inquiry.

Will I take ketamine as part of the course?

No. The online courses are entirely didactic. No participant takes ketamine and none is administered.

Can I start with Clinical and add Leadership later?

Yes. Leadership is available on its own for $2,499. Enrolling in both together saves $250.

Why is there no price for the Clinic Team Program?

The price depends on how many clinicians you are training, how many locations you have, and how much live training and consultation your team needs. After a short conversation you receive a written proposal with a single team price.

Training a team? Request a proposal.

Sending one clinician to a workshop does not build a program. Training the whole team on one protocol does.

Tell us a little about your practice. Dr. Bullock reviews every inquiry personally and will reply to set up a short conversation. If it is a fit, you receive a written proposal prepared for your practice.

Continuing education approval is currently pending with NASW-Utah. Utah approval carries reciprocity in most states, so social workers licensed elsewhere are generally able to apply these hours toward their own licensure. Confirm acceptance with your own licensing board before enrolling. Completion of this training does not constitute certification in ketamine assisted psychotherapy, does not confer prescribing authority, and does not create a supervisory or therapeutic relationship. There is no national certifying body for this modality. Recording consent laws, records retention and scope-of-practice rules vary by state. Check your own state's requirements with your attorney, malpractice carrier and prescribing partner.
